He shrugs. It's difficult to answer that question and so he doesn't.

"Dunno. I like him. Think he's - he's mad at me."

"For fighting with Dorian?" It's possible. He hasn't really seen how other wardens respond to violence, except with exasperation.

"For not telling him about - about my - " He points to his head, hoping that explains enough.

"I don't think most people here would be open about that." Most people here are so guarded it's a wonder they make connections at all, sometimes.

Aaron just shrugs again. He seems to be doing a lot of that, though he rarely really knows the answer. "Maybe. I'm gonna just - just read a while," he mutters.

"Yeah," he ought to go figure out what else happened and that means talking to Dorian, something he's not exactly looking forward to. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay. Bye - bye, Jesus," he says, standing up to retrieve one of his books from the desk.
